Four guys talking tech. A full production every week.

The Fourturamas is a tech podcast built around four guys talking about AI, technology, and whatever strange thing the internet has done this week. I am one of those guys. I am also the person turning the recordings into a finished show. That starts with four separate Riverside tracks, sometimes with broken recordings, uneven audio, or sync problems. Then comes the edit, the animation, the artwork, the copy, and getting it all out to the channels. Apparently, being on the podcast was not enough work.

What I built

I used AI to help develop a repeatable editing workflow that prepares the source tracks, identifies who is speaking, brings that person on screen, and exports an editable timeline into Adobe Premiere Pro. I review and finish the episode there. Around that workflow, I built the show branding, AI-generated intro animation, episode artwork, transcript-based publishing copy, social media process, and supporting web pages and RSS feed. It is an ongoing weekly production that combines creative direction with a lot of technical problem-solving.

What the work includes

DeliverableRole in the project
Video editing workflowAI-assisted preparation of Riverside tracks, audio and sync repair, active-speaker cuts, and an editable Premiere timeline.
Branding and animationFuturama-inspired illustrated show identity, channel artwork, episode thumbnails, and AI-generated animated intros.
Episode copy and social mediaTranscript-led YouTube titles, descriptions, chapters, tags, channel copy, and ongoing social publishing.
Show pages and podcast feedSupporting web pages and an RSS-feed implementation connecting episode audio, artwork, descriptions, and metadata.

From four Riverside tracks to a Premiere timeline

The raw material is a separate recording for each host. The workflow prepares those tracks, works out who is talking, and builds a rough cut with the active speaker in view. It also handles pauses and audio cleanup, then exports an XML timeline I can open and keep editing in Premiere.

The point is to get a usable edit with control over the final result. I still check the cuts, fix awkward switches, listen for overlap, and make sure the conversation sounds like people talking. A laugh or a pause can be part of the show. Cutting every gap makes four humans sound like a bad conference call.

The recordings do not always behave

Some episodes need repair before the creative edit can even begin. The project includes work on room bleed, uneven voice levels, frozen video, split recordings, and audio that gradually drifts out of sync.

One episode required correcting a 0.60-second starting lip-sync error and clock drift on a host’s track, then checking alignment at 20, 58, and 115 minutes. Another needed a less aggressive silence-removal pass to preserve the natural timing. These are the details behind the phrase “video editing.”

A show identity with its own cast

I created the branding around a Futurama-inspired cartoon look, with illustrated versions of the hosts, channel banners, profile artwork, and episode-specific scenes. The cast stays recognizable while the visual joke changes with the conversation.

I also create animated openings with AI. The approved episode artwork becomes the starting point for motion, host reactions, camera movement, narration, and sound. The animation carries the same characters and episode idea into the opening of the video.

Different episodes. A recognizable cast.

“One Shot Is a Lie” turns AI promises into a malfunctioning machine. “Something Stranger” uses opposing worlds and the hosts’ reactions to introduce a different conversation. These are episode-specific ideas within the same show identity.

The transcript becomes the publishing package

Once the conversation is ready, I use a transcript-based workflow to develop the YouTube title, description, chapters, tags, and copy for the other channels. The strongest topic and the best recurring joke shape the episode’s title and thumbnail.

I also manage the show’s social media and push the content out across its channels. That means preparing the copy and creative for distribution every week, alongside producing the full episode.

The work continues beyond YouTube

I built additional pages for the show and a podcast RSS-feed implementation. It brings together episode audio, show and episode artwork, descriptions, and the metadata a podcast feed needs.

The result is a repeatable path from raw recording to an edited episode, branded creative, publishing copy, social posts, and feed-ready audio. I co-host the conversation, build and maintain the workflow, and carry the production through each week.
