When the new owners of Tiki Tide Kava Bar took over, they wanted a rebrand that fully embraced their vision: a vibrant, modern tiki hideaway infused with a Rockabilly edge. They tasked me with creating a logo and website that would bring their dream to life—bold, playful, and dripping with personality.

The Challenge:
Create a cohesive brand identity that captured Tiki Tide’s unique blend of Polynesian tradition and Rock & Roll rebellion. The logo and website needed to radiate the fun, laid-back vibe of the bar while standing out as a visually engaging and unforgettable experience.

My Approach:

• Mermaid Logo Design: I designed a bold, tattoo-inspired mermaid holding a skull-shaped tiki mug, complete with puffed-up 1950s hair and Rockabilly flair. This centerpiece perfectly captured the playful-yet-edgy personality the owners envisioned.
• Bright, Cheerful Website: The website embraced a tropical yet retro vibe, using vibrant colors, bold typography, and tattoo-inspired graphics throughout. From the “What Is Kava” section to the mocktail menu, every element was designed to be engaging and easy to navigate.
• Immersive Branding: I carried the tattoo and tiki theme seamlessly into the background visuals, blending Polynesian motifs with Rockabilly attitude to create a website that feels like stepping into the bar itself.

The Result:
The Tiki Tide Kava Bar rebrand is as bold and lively as the bar itself, with a logo and website that bring its unique vibe to life.
